You need to complete your work with the help of e-stroke练习写字, look at the animation of the strokes and count how many strokes to build up a character. To find the radical 部首, look for the blue ink portion in each character, copy it down on your worksheet.
Parents:Since this is the first week your child receive the material, it is not my intention to have your child recognize all the characters. We will review the vocabulary next week in the calss.
Please print the file and have your child read the lesson text. The pinyin is a learning tool for those who have a terrible time to read the characters, you may fold the paper so the child can't see the pinyin section. As a teacher, I do not focus on pinyin at this age level.
